Play nice.
This policy explains how you may use the bingo cards.io service. It sits alongside our Terms of service, and it applies to everyone: hosts, players and anyone with an account.
Plain-English draft. Have it reviewed by a lawyer before launch.
The short version
Make cards and run games that are legal, kind and your own to share. Don't use the service to hurt people, break the law, spam anyone or get around how the service works. This policy is part of our Terms of service, operated by [Company legal name and address].
Cards, uploads & AI prompts
You're responsible for everything you put on a card, upload or type into the AI generator. Don't create, upload or share content that:
- is illegal where you or your players are;
- harasses, threatens, bullies or targets a person or group, or promotes hatred or violence;
- is sexually explicit, or sexualizes anyone under 18 in any way;
- shares someone else's private information (addresses, phone numbers, ID or account details) without their permission;
- infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights, for example photos, logos or artwork you don't have permission to use;
- is designed to mislead, defraud or impersonate a person or organization.
Don't put personal or sensitive information in AI prompts. AI output can be wrong or unsuitable, so review every card before you print or share it.
Live games & invites
- Share game links and invites only with people who expect them. Don't use game invites to send spam or bulk unsolicited messages.
- Player names are visible to everyone in a game. Hosts should remove or ignore offensive names, and players should use a first name or nickname.
- Don't try to join games you weren't invited to, disrupt a game, or claim wins you didn't earn by tampering with the service.
Prizes & gambling
Bingo games with money or valuable prizes are regulated in many places. If you run paid-entry games, raffles or fundraisers, it's your job to follow the local rules (licences, age limits, prize caps). Don't use the service to run gambling where it isn't legal.
Accounts & plan limits
- One person per account. Don't share logins, sell accounts or create extra accounts to get around free-plan or AI limits.
- Keep your sign-in details safe. You're responsible for activity under your account.
- Don't misuse purchases, for example by charging back payments for things you received and used.
Security & the service
Don't:
- try to access accounts, data or systems that aren't yours;
- overload, disrupt or attack the service, including denial-of-service attacks;
- upload viruses or other harmful code;
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download templates or cards, or use automated tools to create accounts or cards, except where we've agreed in writing;
- probe or test the service for vulnerabilities without our permission. If you find a security issue, please tell us at hello@bingocards.io instead.
Our name & templates
- Don't pretend to be us, or suggest we endorse you, without our written permission.
- Templates are licensed for making your own cards, not for reselling as templates. Licensing explains what's allowed.
What happens if rules are broken
If we believe this policy has been broken, we may:
- remove the content or end the live game involved;
- limit features, or suspend or close the account;
- report illegal activity to the authorities where the law requires or allows it.
Where it's reasonable, we'll warn you first and explain why. If you think we've made a mistake, reply to our message or contact us and we'll take another look.
Reporting a problem
Seen a card, game or account that breaks these rules? Email hello@bingocards.io or use our contact form with the game code or link and what happened. We read every report.
