How do I start and host an online bingo game?
Share a link or game code, call from the call board and confirm winners. Players join on their phones with no download.
Updated
In a live game you run the call board on your screen while each player gets their own card in the browser on their phone. Calls show up for everyone at once.
Live games use number calls, so a Traditional card (for example 75-ball) works best. The design you chose is used for players' cards.
Before you start
- A free account (hosts need to be signed in; players don't).
- Player limits by plan: up to 8 players on Free, 50 on Plus and 200 on Pro.
- A big screen or projector helps for in-room games. For remote games, share your screen on your video call.
Steps
- Set up your card in the editor, then press Play online.
- Share the game: use the WhatsApp, Facebook or Pinterest buttons, press Copy to copy the game link, or send email invites. Your 6-character game code is shown under the link.
- Ask one person to open the link first, to check it works before everyone joins.
- Press Play online at the bottom of the panel to open the call board as the host.
- Wait for players. The PLAYERS counter goes up as people join, and the players button lists everyone by name.
- Press Next call to draw a number. It appears on every player's screen.
- When a player presses Bingo!, review their card and press Declare winner or Not yet. See Check a Bingo claim.
- Press Finish to end the game, or Restart to clear the board and play another round with the same players.
Want to play too? The host view has a Play along tab with your own card, next to the Call board.
Troubleshooting
Nobody can join
See Online play connectivity issues.
I closed the call board by accident
Open the same link again with your browser's back button or history. The game code stays the same while the game is running.
