How do I print a card?
Choose cards per page and page count, add a caller card, and save it all as a PDF or send it straight to your printer.
Updated
Every card in a print batch is shuffled separately, so each player gets a different layout. The print preview on the right shows exactly what will come out of the printer.
Before you start
- A card with a title. The Print step won't open without one.
- Enough items for your grid. More items than squares means more variety between cards.
- Batch size depends on your plan: up to 10 unique cards on Free, 500 on Plus and 2,000 on Pro.
Steps
- In the editor, press Print in the step bar (or the Print button at the bottom of the panel).
- Under How many cards per page?, choose 1, 2 or 4. One card per page is easiest to read; four saves paper.
- Set How many pages?. The line underneath shows the total, for example "4 cards/page x 5 pages = 20 cards".
- Turn on any extras: Include a caller card, Add numbers to each card and Include instructions.
- Scroll the preview to check the sheets. Sheets are laid out for standard paper sizes: Letter, Legal, A5, A4, A3 and A2.
- Press Generate & Print. Your browser's print dialog opens.
- To get a PDF, choose Save as PDF (or Microsoft Print to PDF) as the destination. To print now, pick your printer.
We don't ship printed cards. To get cards on thick stock, save the PDF and take it to any local print shop, or print at home on card stock. Printing tips has the settings to ask for.
Troubleshooting
Cards are cut off or spill onto two pages
Set the print dialog's scale to 100% (or Default) and make sure the paper size there matches your paper. See Printing tips.
Colors and backgrounds are missing
Turn on Background graphics in the print dialog's More settings.
The web address or date prints at the edge
Untick Headers and footers in the print dialog. See Removing headers and footers.
I can't make as many cards as I need
Your plan's batch limit applies. Print in a couple of batches with card numbers on, or upgrade on the pricing page.
