This image-based bingo card includes Pokémon characters and visuals, making it intuitive and fun — no numbers required!

How to play Pokémon bingo

Pokémon Bingo is easy to learn and quick to set up. Here’s how to play:

1. Distribute your cards: Each player gets a unique image-based Pokémon bingo card. Each square features a different Pokémon or Pokémon-related image.
2. Call out or show images: Use a randomizer or printed tokens to draw and announce Pokémon one by one.
3. Mark the matching image: Players mark the corresponding Pokémon on their cards.
4. Bingo!: The first person to complete a full row, column, diagonal, or a specific pattern (like a Poké Ball shape) shouts “Bingo!” and wins.

You can play with traditional rules or add creative Pokémon-themed challenges to suit your group’s style.

Ideas for playing Pokémon bingo

Pokémon Bingo works well across all kinds of events, and you can tailor it to the experience you want:

• Birthday party adventure: Use characters from the birthday child’s favorite region (like Kanto or Galar).
• Pokémon GO outing: Play while exploring a park or city — mark off Pokémon as you encounter them in real life!
• Anime watch party: Fill your card with Pokémon that appear in the episodes you’re watching.
• Pokémon battle tournament: Each round, players mark Pokémon used in battles.
• Learning edition: For younger players, use cards to learn Pokémon types, evolutions, or even how to spell names.

You can also play in teams, add trivia questions for each square, or turn it into a memory game by flipping over image tiles instead of calling them out.
