How do I create a bingo card?
From a blank editor to a finished card in four steps: Templates, Setup, Design and Print.
Updated
The editor walks you through four steps, shown as pills across the top of the left panel: Templates, Setup, Design and Print. Everything you change shows up straight away in the live preview on the right.
You don't have to go in order. Jump to any step, and your title, words and grid stay put when you switch designs.
Before you start
- A free account. The editor asks you to sign up (with Google or your email) and brings you straight back afterwards.
- A rough idea of your theme. A list of 15–30 words or phrases is plenty for a party card.
- A laptop or desktop works best for the editor. Players never need one: printed cards are paper, and live games run on phones.
Steps
- Open the card editor. You land on the Templates step.
- Under Designs, pick a look for your card. Each design is a colored canvas, a patterned separator behind the grid and themed elements around the edges. Prefer to start with words already filled in? Switch to Pre-filled instead.
- Go to Setup and choose Custom (your own words or images) or Traditional (classic number bingo).
- For a Custom card, type each word and add it to the list, then choose a grid size: 3 x 3, 4 x 4 or 5 x 5. Press shuffle in the preview to see how different cards will look.
- Under Additional options, decide whether you want a free space, column headers (B-I-N-G-O or your own) and footer text.
- Open Design to fine-tune colors, fonts, the title and the card layers.
- Give your card a title, then go to Print to make a stack of unique cards, or press Play online to host a live game.
Tip: add more items than your grid has squares. A 5 x 5 card with 40 words produces far more varied cards than one with exactly 24, so fewer players share winning lines.
Short on ideas? Start from one of our bingo card templates or let the AI generator draft the squares for you.
Troubleshooting
The Print step says a title is required
Every printed card needs a title. Add one in the Design step (Card Title) and press Print again.
I refreshed the page and my card is gone
Unsaved work lives in the editor tab, so your browser asks before you leave or reload. Press Save to keep a card in My cards, or finish and print before closing the tab.
I was sent to the sign-up page
Creating cards needs a free account. Sign up or sign in and you'll be taken back to the editor automatically.
