How do I use the AI card generator?
Type a theme, preview the title, squares and design the AI drafts, then open it in the editor to finish it off.
Updated
Describe your event and the AI drafts a title, a list of squares, a matching design and colors. You get a preview first, then open it in the editor where every word stays editable.
Before you start
- A free account. Free includes 2 AI generations to try it out; Plus and Pro include more each month. See AI generation limits.
Steps
- Go to the home page and find the prompt box ("Try haunted house party").
- Type your theme. Be specific: "office Halloween party, things that happen on a video call" beats "Halloween".
- Optionally tap a theme chip such as Halloween, Icebreaker or Educational to steer it.
- Press the sparkle button. Your preview appears in a few seconds.
- Not quite right? Edit the prompt beside the preview and update it.
- Press Open this design in editor. The card loads with its words and design so you can change anything, then print or play.
Prompts that work well
- Name the audience: "for 8-year-olds", "for nurses", "for a book club".
- Name the moment: "things you'll hear at the wedding speeches".
- Ask for short items, such as single vocabulary words, when each answer needs to fit inside a square.
- Ask for a grid size if you need one: "5x5" or "4x4".
- Ask for numbers if you want classic bingo: "75-ball number bingo".
The AI is a fast first draft, not the final word. Read the squares before you print: check spelling, accuracy and whether every square suits your crowd's age.
Troubleshooting
The preview never appears
The AI service may be busy. Wait a moment and press the sparkle again. If you see a limit message instead, check AI generation limits.
The words are too generic
Add details only your guests would know: names of places, running jokes, the event's schedule. Or open it in the editor and swap the weakest squares by hand.
